It is not the first year that I pay particular attention to organic cosmetics. Until recently I used only foreign brands, but just a couple of weeks ago I tried a few skincare and hair care products of the Russian label Wonder Me - and I loved them.

Diana Vreeland, the Vogue’s editor-in-chief, once said "Every girl in the world should have geisha training." Beauty is definitely not as much about outside as it is about the inside. Today, we touch upon some visual external beauty secrets well-known in Japan. Some of these include taking hot baths enriched with oils, gentle facial massages, avoiding tan, more green tea drinking, proper face cleansing, going easy on makeups, and lotion masks.

Here is my debut trial of the Canadian-American makeup art brand, Mac Cosmetics. Due to a carefully chosen brow liner in Brunette color and a lip pencil in Whirl (dirty rose) hue, it's interesting that the necessity for eye makeup dropped away! It is completely new for me because I always considered mascara as one of the bases of makeup. And now the brows took the spotlight!

The lip pencil has a smooth and creamy texture that is pleasant for outlining lips or coloring them in.

A double-sided brow liner comes with a spoolie and gives a perfectly groomed look. Highly pigmented formula applies immediately, while the rich powdery texture gives a pleasant matte and velvety payoff.

Что интересно, благодаря точно подобранному по цвету лайнеру для бровей, а в моем случае это ненавязчивый и красивый оттенок Brunette, и карандашу для губ с привлекательным розоватым цветом Whirl, необходимость красить глаза вообще отпала! И мне это в новинку, так как всю жизнь я считала одной из основ макияжа - хорошо прокрашенные глазки. А тут вдруг, на тебе! Брови все взяли на себя.

Карандаш для губ имеет приятную гладкую кремовую текстуру. Стойкий на губах.

Beauty is a feeling of comfort in your own body. In the pursuit of comfort and harmony, we try various methods in order to feel better inside and out. Once in the past, I tried skincare products by La Mer and since then I have been blooming within a most pleasant sanctuary of beauty preservation.

Recently La Mer presented a new marvelous Moisturizing Matte Lotion. Its weightless texture is like a magical veil, which softly touches skin while enveloping it, melting deeply, while leaving pleasantly scented plumes of freshness.

Mysterious, serene, fresh, catchy... these are some of the descriptives that fly off the lips when I take in the scent of English Oak &Redcurrant. Closing my eyes I can imagine a mystical atmosphere of a forest thicket with its mighty tree crowns.

The perfume composition includes burned bark of oak, rose and currant. This cologne is suitable for him and for her.

Usually fragrances consist of three notes. In this cologne by Jo Malone the top note - redcurrant, heart note – rose, base note – roasted oak.

THE WORLD OF URIAGE | REVIEW // УВЛАЖНЯЮЩАЯ КОСМЕТИКА УРЬЯЖ | ОТЗЫВ

I remember when I tried Uriage for the first time in high school. My skin was very capricious then, so my almost desperate parents did not know what could treat it well. It was Uriage cream (with a small acid content) that gradually helped my problematic facial skin to recover. Happiness was endless!)

Now slowly approaching the edge of thirty, I am faced with the need of a deeper moisturizing of the skin. Again, Uriage products came to help me. This time the line with Hydro-Thermal complex.

URBAN DECAY: NAKED ULTIMATE BASICS, PERVERSION MASCARA, BROW TAMER

My first trial of the American brand Urban Decay was inspiring. I have to admit that normally, I don't use eyeshadows. My routine makeup is limited by a lipstick, mascara and blush. However, a stylish palette Naked Ultimate Basics exceeded my expectations.

At first, it comprises a splendid gamma of neutral matte hues with cool and warm temperature as well as velvety texture. Second, a fluffy two-ended brush perfectly applies the shades. By the way, the shades have serious staying power.

Perversion mascara: Bigger. Blacker. Badder has become a pleasant discovery for my lashes too. It brushes with a lavish black color and glides on with a creamy texture. Perversion lengthens lashes very well.

A clear color Brow Tamer was a total newbie for me. The gel carefully grooms creating a more polished brow look.

Первая проба пера тестирования американской косметики Urban Decay прошла на "ура". Признаюсь, не часто пользуюсь тенями для глаз. Обхожусь помадой, тушью и румянами. Однако стильная палетка Naked Ultimate Basics превзошла мои ожидания. Прежде всего потому, что она вместила в себя шикарную гамму нейтральных матовых оттенков с бархатной текстурой, от тёплых к холодным. Во-вторых, пушистая двусторонняя кисть, что представлена в палетке, прекрасно наносит тени. К слову, тени очень стойкие и не нуждаются в подкрашивании.

Тушь Perversion: Bigger. Blacker. Badder стала еще одним приятным сюрпризом. Красит обильно насыщенным черным цветом и обладает кремовой текстурой. Хорошо удлинняет ресницы.

А вот бесцветный гель для фиксации бровей, c игривым названием Brow Tamer, я попробовала впервые. Хорошо укладывает и придаёт бровкам более аккуратный и совершенный вид.

A bit puzzled to see me metallic blue? For those, who accidentally skipped this news, Sonic The Hedgehog has recently celebrated his 25th anniversary. Come on, who didn’t play Sonic being a kid?! In order to promote this news, the Hollywood label GlamGlow, which specializes in treatment masks, launched the limited-edition Sonic Blue Gravitymud.

In general GlamGlow offers different facial masks depending on your purpose (brightening, clearing, hydrating, etc.). My testing mask fulfills firming treatment. Only the Sonic mask gives off a vibrant blue color, while a regular GlamGlow GravityMud has a light silver hue. 

Listing the pros, I noticed are that a GravityMud peel-off mask is made of licorice leaf and marshmallow, it works good for all skin types, it perfectly cleans my skin from small sports of grease, leaving it feeling a bit more lifted and fresh looking very quickly. Moreover, I have to admit that the process of peeling off the mask is such fun! The whole procedure takes 20-30 minutes and is recommended twice a week.

Fragrance is our personal statement. 

The ever-memorable and rich scents of Jo Malone attracted my attention several years ago. Refinement, sophistication and exquisite simplicity, at the same time, mildly and simultaneously cover all perfumery of the British brand.
