Among the leading trends of Summer and Fall of this year is fur.
This isn't my first Guess fur vest; being familiar with this brand, I've
noticed they produce quality fur imitations that can be easily taken for
natural ones.
On the topic of trends, there are special trend agencies that have
been developing books on trend (an approximate
price for such books starts from 8.000 euros!) designed to anticipate
the flow and future of design, fashion and marketing to give
clients a strategic edge in the market place.
Trend books are future-oriented reports that circulate
in the fashion industry. Big trends agencies in Europe are Promostyl, Nelly
Rodi, Peclers, Carlin, and Modaln, to name a few.
Usually trend books deal with Fashion, Design, Decor, Cosmetics
and Packaging.
I think that nowadays, everyone knows who is
a trendsetter: someone who starts or launches a fashion trend before most
other people. However, it is also interesting to
note that such trendsetters usually work for the trend
agencies and/or forecasting websites such as wgsn.com and stylesight.com.
To develop a strong trend, there are two approaches:
- Imitation of that which is worn by the rich people
(trickle down effect theory)
- Recovery of trendy street styles (trickle up effect
theory).
Trickle down effect (a new trend goes from the upper to the lower class):
1) Fashion elite (designers, actors, journalists, pop stars) start
wearing a clothing item.
2) We identify ourselves with the stars and want to look similar.
3) We are interested in trends reading fashion magazines.
4) Products are available in the mass market (e.g. H&M).
5) Products are available in most major retail
stores. It is time to launch a new trend.
Trickle up effect (the trend is born in the street
(hippies, punks, grunge) is accepted by the elite:
1) A new trend springs from the streets.
2) We give a name to the trend.
3) Fashion magazines and broadcast media become aware of this
trend.
4) Dandies ask for special versions.
5) Expensive versions are available in fashion boutiques.

В данном образе я сделала акцент на меховой
жилетке. Это далеко не первая меховая вещь фирмы Guess в моем гардеробе. Этот бренд производит
искусственный мех хорошего качества, который легко можно спутать с настоящим.
Говоря о трендах, хотелось бы упомянуть о
специальных трендовых агентствах, выпускающих книги о новых трендах
(приблизительная цена таких книг стартует от 8.000 евро!), которые скупаются
дизайнерами и используются для создания новых модных коллекций.
Среди самых знаменитых трендовых агентств

Думаю, что в наши дни уже каждый знает кто
такой трендсеттер (инноватор, воспринимающий тренды раньше других и своим
примером внедряющий новшество в массовое использование). Однако, не все знают,
что трендсеттеры обычно работают на трендовые агентства или
прогнозирующие вебсайты, например: wgsn.com и
stylesight.com (членство в которых весьма дорогостоящее
удовольствие).
Для создания мощного тренда существуют два
подхода:
- Имитация того, что одевают богатые и
знаменитые (теория “trickle down”(дословно: теория «просачивания благ сверху
вниз»)
- Восстановление тредовых уличных стилей
(теория “trickle up”)
Trickle down effect (новый тренд, идущий от верхних слоев
населения к более низким):
1) Модная элита
(дизайнеры, актеры, поп звезды) начинает носить какой-либо наряд.
2) Мы (в большинстве
случаев) ассоциируем себя со звездами и хотим выглядеть похожими на них.
3) Мы,
заинтересованные трендами, читаем модные журналы.
4) Продукт
массового интереса доступен на массовом рынке (к примеру, H&M).
5) Продукт
доступен в большинстве торговых точек. Наступает время для создания нового
тренда.
Trickle down effect (новый тренд зарождается на улицах (стиль
хиппи, панк, гранж) и копируется элитой:
1) Новый тренд возникает
на улицах.
2) Мы даем имя этому
тренду.
3) Журналы и
медиа начинают освещать возникший тренд.
4) Денди (особо
модные персоны) требуют специальные (чаще лимитированные) коллекции.
5) Дорогостоящие
коллекции доступны в бутиках.
